The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 71, was formed in 1969. The initial president, Jim "Billy" Barnes, played an instrumental role in forming the lodge. In 2007 the lodge was named after Jim "Billy" Barnes to show our gratitude for his tireless efforts. The primary mission of Lodge 71 is to support the men and women of the Pensacola Police Department. The lodge is also active in many community organizations (see community involvement page for more information).
